FOCUS - ACTS is a home schooling support group founded by Christian home educators located in Henderson County and encompassing the surrounding East Texas area. ACTS is committed to providing fun and interesting, social and informational opportunities for home-schooling parents and their children.

If you have you been looking for a group that accepts your children no matter what their gifts and talents may be, then you have come to the right place. At ACTS it is what is on the inside that counts; not the clothes you wear, the curriculum you use or the church you attend. If this is what you have been searching for in a home school group then please take some time to check us out!

ACTIVITIES - We offer a variety of experiences through ACTS. Here are a few of the events we work to keep on our schedule: Weekly Park Days, Monthly Themed Meetings, Monthly Field Trips, Teachers' Lounge (Mom's Night Out), Mom's Coffee Breaks, Classical Arts Field Trips, and Community Services.

ONLINE SUPPORT - We also offer unparalleled fellowship and support through our forum. This is where we Parents/Teachers come for encouragement, to vent frustrations, to seek and give advice, and share news and information about resources available to home-schooling families in our area.

COSTS - We are a "No Dues" group. We instead rely upon the service of our group members as each is able to serve.

HOW TO JOIN - Because we take our members’ privacy and security seriously membership can only be acquired after a face-to-face meeting with group leadership. If you would like to schedule a time to meet, please contact us at 817-691-1434 or by emailing ladyhawk82158@gmail.com.

AREA SERVED - We are here to serve homeschooling families in and all around Henderson County. We have members from Athens, Chandler, Edom, Canton, Palestine, Eustace, Larue, Brownsboro, Payne Springs, Murchison...basically from all around the areas. :)
